Pastor Williams is a native of Bartow, Florida and a graduate of Knoxville College with a degree in Biology.

 

He worked with IMC-Global Company and in March 2003, Pastor Williams retired from IMC Global to concentrate completely on his Ministry.

 

In August 1999, Bishop Frank C. Cummings assigned Pastor Williams to Greater Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in St. Petersburg, Florida where he presently serves as Senior Pastor. In September 2008, following a vision given him from God, he enlarged his territory to do ministry and moved the church to a much larger facility.

 

He is a 33rd Degree mason Board Member for the Johnnie Ruth Clark Community Health Center, St. Petersburg, Life Member of the NAACP, Co-founder of F.A.S.T. Justice Ministry, and has a loud voice in the arena of politics and education in Pinellas County. Under his leadership and direction, the Church opened Cross and Anvil Human Services, Inc., where Tutoring, Veterans assistance, HIV/AIDS awareness, Mentoring, Computer classes, and Financial Literacy classes are offered to the Campbell Park Neighborhood. He is Treasurer for the A.M.E. West Coast Conference.

 

Pastor Williams is married to Mrs. Andrea P. Williams and they work as a team in ministry. Sister Williams serves as the Youth Church Coordinator, Advisor to the Board of Christian Education Department, Women’s Missionary Society and the Women’s Ministry. They have two daughters, Dominique and Dr. Andria.

 

He attempts to lead by example through being a kind, compassionate and giving man. He distinguishes himself as a people’s person. His ministry is Christ centered and spirit lead. His favorite scripture passages are Philippians 3:13-14, and Ephesians 4:1-3. Pastor Williams enjoys playing golf, fishing and listening to classical music.
